Prefeasibility assessment / Screening and scoping study for Shambhu ki Bhurj-Man-2 project

ECOGENESIS PMC PVT LTD (ECOGENESIS) was appointed by Azure Power Fifty-Two Private Limited as a consultant to conduct a Screening and scoping Study. The pre-feasibility assessment was carried out to identify the potential Environmental and Social (E&S) risks at the initial phase that may arise due to the development and operations of the proposed project and suggest an environmental and social action plan to mitigate the potential E&S risks and to get a clear idea to go ahead for next step of project development by the proponent.

Key Observations:

• The proposed project falls in GIB Potential area.

• May be the project site requires the removal of vegetation because few trees are noted from google Maps and site information shared by Azure. Therefore, trees may be cut/removed due to the project’s development.
