Bird Bat monitoring study for 198MW wind power project

ECOGENESIS PMC PVT LTD (ECOGENESIS) was appointed by SPRNG ENERGY Pvt Ltd as an environmental consultant to conduct Bird Bat Monitoring Study. The study conducted an overall survey of the bird and bat species in the surrounding area. To design additional mitigation measures to avoid the death of avifauna species as per IFC PS 6. To review birds and bats mortality and their species identification based on the regular monitoring by SPRNG ENERGY field team. To conduct carcass monitoring for identifying raptors and other species. To frame a monitoring plan for further study.

Key Observations:

No critical endangered species were noted during Post monsoon season; few Bat carcasses are observed.
